This interesting story with happy ending popped up in one of the on-line discussions and I thought it’s definitely worth sharing it.
Wendy Townsend had almost lost their iguana Luna to outdoors. The lizard got out and bolted into the stone wall, came out the other side and disappeared. The family lived in 20+ acres of fields and woods in the Catskills. They searched into the night and the next morning at sun-up and then called a friend who had a bloodhound. They showed the dog Luna’s perch, and a place where she’d peed on the rug, and 30 minutes later, the marvelous dog found her.
So if anyone loses a lizard, definitely get your hands on one of these bloodhounds.
